Following the announcements made by Mr. Noonan in his Budget for 2014, Revenue have finally caught up with the implications and practicalities of the incentive announcement, and have issued guidelines for Home Owners and Building Contractors to facilitate the new arrangements. If you are planning to undertake some renovation or extension work to your home over the next few years it is worth reviewing the guidelines in the attached link as there are interim off line arrangements up to April 2014, and further online guidelines which will apply after April 2014, when the system will be fully integrated into Revenues On-Line Tax rebate systems.
