Mr. Noonan introduced a Home Improvement Tax Incentive in Budget 2014, which he said was to commence from January 2014 and run for a period of two years to the end of 2015. We thought this was great news, but now it is even better news as Mr. Noonan has agreed to start this initiative from 25th October 2013. This means that anyone wanting to get works done in time for Christmas, can go ahead, once the qualifying works are at least €5000 and do not exceed €30,000. This is excellent news for the Compliant Building Contractors, and for the Compliant owners of Principle Private Residences.
