Terra Nua Building Contractors have been part of a lobby group to get the current Home Renovation Incentive, (HRI) scheme introduced by Revenue in 2014 extended for at least another year in Budget 2015.
The scheme has resulted in 9 new contracts for Terra Nua in 2014, and has helped homeowners make some needed renovations with the added benefit of getting the VAT amount back through their taxes.
The scheme has been popular nationwide, with some builders reporting that over 70% of their work resulted directly from this incentive. We very much hope for the economy as a whole, that the Government extends this to create further jobs, and better quality housing stock in Ireland.
