Team Terra Nua are getting behind a local Cycle Against Suicide Dungarvan SpinOff event on October 18th in Dungarvan Town. Cycle Against Suicide is the movement set up by Jim Breen of Secret Millionaire fame, and it’s core focus is to raise awareness of Mental Health issues, and the help and supports available to those who need it. It’s core message is that “it is OK not to feel OK, and it is absolutely OK to ask for help, and there is good help available, we just have to ask”
Terra Nua sub-contractors were invited to stand shoulder to shoulder and wear the orange jersey to let all construction workers know that it is OK not to feel OK. Suicide claimed over 800 lives on the Island of Ireland last year, the majority of these were young men.
